The Maine Book & Print Collective (MBPC) is excited to open our book and print awards for 2026!

The MBPC seeks to celebrate books in the following categories or genres: Children's Books (literature or nonfiction and geared toward children under 12); Literary Fiction (from romance to fantasy to literary to sci fi to YA, this category spans genres); Nonfiction (including all subject matter, times, and geographies); and Poetry. 

Our print awards seeks submissions on our theme of Books Reimagined. This theme is meant to encourage artists to explore ways in which they can engage with books in unique and creative ways.

MBPC will accept artistic works for the following categories: Illustration/Drawing (medium can vary, e.g. pencil, paint, charcoal, etc.); Multi-modal (works that include multiple mediums, e.g. textile and fibers arts, sculpture and clay, etc.); and Print (works that include but are not limited to traditional forms of print making, digital prints, photography, etc.)
