“Good Soup” is an accessible gm-less rpg where players are woodland creatures gathering ingredients to make soup to heal weary travelers. Great for those looking to try out a TTRPG. Actions are determined by eating actual soup (or rolling dice as an alternative) and the book comes with a soup recipe in the back. This light role playing game is perfect for parties and potlucks, or for a group of friends wanting something quick to pickup and play.

Black Flies is a role playing horror game where players are cultists trying to seek their fortune under the powers of the fly cryptid, Zzrtrzz. Convert followers, collect tokens of darkness, resolve omens, and evaporate into clouds of flies.

Align+Fleurish is a creative wellness workshop that teaches participants two simple yet powerful continuous line drawing techniques that aid in calming the nervous system and provide moments of peace during stressful times. This practice offers an accessible tool for self-regulation that can be done anywhere, anytime.

The Practice

This workshop centers around a meditative drawing exercise often used in early childhood education to support neural pathway development in children. This method is beneficial for adults as well. Participants learn to create flowing, continuous line drawings that naturally emerge as flower-like forms—irises, lady slippers, and other botanical shapes that bloom from pen to paper without lifting the drawing instrument.

Who This Serves

This workshop is designed for anyone experiencing the pressures of modern life—work stress, future anxiety, or the chronic fight-or-flight response that has become commonplace in our fast-paced culture. No artistic experience is required; the focus is on process, not product.

"Paths to Publishing" is a free, public workshop equipping writers of all backgrounds and experience levels to navigate the complex world of publishing. Attendees will gain valuable insight into three common routes to publication: traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing. Whether you're a beginning writer seeking to understand industry basics or an experienced author excited to explore new publishing options, this workshop will provide essential knowledge to help you choose the right path for your book. Statues are designed to capture the spirits and stories of people throughout history. Many statues are standing strong; some are riding horses; others are holding special objects or doing something meaningful with their hands.

If you designed a statue, what would it be doing? Dancing? Running? Holding the hands of a friend? Reading a book? Creating art? Building something?

In this workshop, we will spend time responding to prompts and discussing the goals of our writing. This is meant to be a writing intensive workshop so participants can leave with work they can continue working on. This is a great workshop for new writers or writers that haven’t taken to putting pen to paper for a while.

Learn what agents and readers look for on page one, identify common pitfalls to avoid, and practice proven strategies to start your story strong. Participants will have the opportunity to revise their own first pages and leave with practical tools to make their beginnings unforgettable.

“Creating Compelling Characters” is a workshop designed to help you create characters that feel real. This interactive event explores the 4 things every character needs to feel real. Attendees will practice different strategies for creating characters and come away with character sketches for their work in progress. This workshop is perfect for both beginning writers and authors who want to keep improving their character development skills. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their ideas.
